The spot where we'd heard rumours of strange goings on in Formby Woods. Here you see Keith and Mike Tasker helping Steve out of a ditch! The Team is really pulling together! "But I thought you packed the camera equipment?!" Mike Robyachavitch denies all knowledge of my well thought out packing schedule, and tries to blame his forgetfullness on others. Thanks to him we had to make the 3 mile round trip back to my house to pick up the Ecto-plasmic camera filters. A style. Edge of Formby Wood. Night falls on our intrepid bunch! Who could have possibly what lay ahead! In the middle of the night we were all awoken by an unearthly sound! This seemingly innocent photo was taken outside the tent. The noises got louder and the tent began to shake, and we decided it was time to go! I'm sure something tripped me up. "Get out of the way Steve, you clumsy oaf!" We escaped with our lives (just) and spent the rest of the night huddled in the car! Only on later analysis did we see the fate that nearly befell us. If we take the original photo and enhance and zoom.. we can see that there is definite evidence of a phantom in the shot enhance and zoom further... and it is clear that we barely escaped the floating apparition of GEORGE FORMBY.
